Wells
College Critical Incident Response Plan
If a member of the Wells
community becomes directly involved in or is aware of a crisis situation
or critical incident, they should do the following:
Serious accidents,medical
emergencies, fire or imminent threat: Call 911 immediately and specify
that you are calling from Wells College. Then, notify Security at x3229.
An officer will respond to the scene.
Non-emergency situation:
Contact the Security Department at x3229 and report the incident.
Every critical incident or
emergency scenario cannot be predicted. However, many critical incidents
require similar responses from the College. The primary objectives of the
Critical Incident Response Plan are to protect life, preserve property,
and restore normal campus operations as soon as possible.
On the handouts section of
this page, you will find the College's Critical Incident Response Plan.
Please review it and contact the Dean of Students or the Director of Security
if you have questions or suggestions.
